Soluble proteins including cytokines, chemokines and growth factors are small proteins that mediate and regulate immunity, and are involved in many diseases including cancers. The concentration of these proteins in blood and tissues may help to understand inflammatory response pathways or disease progression. Consequently, cytokines are very useful as a tool for screening, diagnosis classification between stages of disease or surveillance for therapy.

Luminex is useful when multiplexed measurements at high sensitivity, even in complex matrices, are needed. We generally utilize the Luminex platform in early phase studies profiling cytokines and other analytes.
Quanterix SIMOA provides precise quantification of analytes in multiple matrices at ultra-high sensitivity. This platform can measure targets present at femtomolar (fM) levels, enabling analysis of analytes that may have been previously undetectable.
MesoScale Discovery (MSD) Assays
MSD assays provide multiplexed measurements of up to 10 analytes in complex sample matrices consistently and at high sensitivity. Suitable for all phases of development, applications include cytokine profiling, immunogenicity testing, and more.
Automated Western Blotting (Immunoblotting)
